An unusual pair of silver napkin or serviette clips, dating to the reign of King George VI. Rare to find as a matching pair, these napkin clips are designed to attach to the shirt, with the napkin being secured in place between the two leaves. The fronts are of shield shape and feature geometric decoration and a rounded vacant cartouche to the centre. Full hallmarks are found to the reverse of both.
