A most unusual Edwardian silver and glass inkwell. This interesting piece has a silver collar and hinged lid. There are twin apertures for quill or pen. The ruby glass body is gently tapering and it stands on a raised silver plinth base. This superior example is a handsome collector's piece, both practical and decorative.
