A superb and desirable small silver playing card box with two decks of cards. This splendid late Victorian hallmarked example, has a hinged lid with clasp to front and the body is plain and stylish. With the lid open, the cards are revealed along with finger 'cut outs' to both sides of the decks to allow ease of removal. There is a dividing panel for the two decks of cards and the box is presented with a helpful period instruction booklet.
