Stunning Victorian Nailsea Bellows Flask

This is a wonderful and large example of Nailsea glassware from Bristol, England. This fine novelty piece is formed of clear glass and shaped into a pair of fireside bellows. The glass has the fabulous inclusions of white and cranberry drapes and swirls to the body, with the addition of trailed crimped decoration to the sides, bellow handles and unusually The Prince of Wales' feather motif one side. The stem is finished with a bladed knop and to the underside of the foot is a broken pontil mark. A wonderful, rare example making a fantastic addition to any collection.
