This is a delightful piece of late Victorian silver tableware. This is a charming pate server/spreader, with a heart shaped silver blade and a tactile mother-of-pearl handle. The blade is fully hallmarked and engraved with lovely foliar patterns. These useful items were usually tea table pieces and can also be used for butter. A practical and attractive collector's piece.
