Item Details
A rare piece of Georgian silver, from the early part of the 19th Century. This wonderful, tactile piece is a toothpick box or holder to contain ones own silver or gold toothpicks. The oblong body is beautifully shaped and crafted and is free from engraving. The box is domed to both sides and hinged to the middle, with thumb grips to aid with opening. Once open it reveals a richly gilded interior, with lovely clear Georgian hallmarks on view.
This is an interesting and rare example, still usable today and making for a lovely addition to any collection.
