A magnificent example of a Georgian silver toast rack, dating from the Regency period. This substantial piece is suitable for six full sized slices. The rectangular case base stands on four stylized lion paw feet and has a fluted border, with decorative corners featuring masks. The handle is oval and body has wire-work dividers are that are shaped in twin hoops. A superior and practical example of George III silver tableware.
