I pride myself on being a quality-focused and customer-friendly Antiques Dealer with a keen eye for detail and a real passion for quality stock.&nbsp; My antiques journey started at a young age with a keen interest in history. This led me to a love for archaeology, social history, minerals and precious stones, old buildings, architecture and finally classic cars. I was drawn into the antiques trade when a very good friend introduced me to the world of silver and glass. I was captivated with the joy of being able to own and use silver flatware from the early 18th Century and drink from a Georgian glass rummer. It snowballed from there and I was well and truly hooked. Many years later, I still love my chosen career and get a huge amount of enjoyment and satisfaction from being involved with such individual and special historical pieces that we're able to own and be the custodians of. I span as many eras as I possibly can, but keen favourites of mine are the Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods. I specialize in antique silver and glassware, but also enjoy dealing in small decorative items, plus some jewellery that takes my eye. Each piece is carefully selected by me and great care is taken to make sure that everything I sell is sold in the best possible condition. <h2>Refunds and Returns</h2> Returns can be made within 14 days of the original purchase date. However, these are usually only accepted if an item has undisclosed damage at the point of sale or it has been seriously mis described.The buyer pays all return costs.&nbsp;Any returned items will need to be in the same condition as received and sent back via registered delivery. <h2>Deliveries</h2> Andrew Cox Antiques go to great lengths to ensure that items sold are carefully hand packed to a high standard. Only 'Special delivery' and International 'Signed-for' postage options via Royal Mail are used in order to guarantee delivery/tracking and full insurance. If the item is too large or heavy then a fully insured courier service is used, this can be discussed at point of purchase as it will incur extra postage costs and contributions.In the unfortunate situation that an item goes missing in transit, all available assistance will be offered to make a claim against the provider. Loss is not the responsibility of the seller.

A wonderful Victorian glass biscuit barrel with eye catching decorations in the Art Nouveau taste. The emerald green glass body is of excellent proportions and features sinuous gilded bands and wonderful floral and foliate decoration in pale green and yellow enamel. Both the gilding and enamelling are repeated to the lid which has a hollow ball finial. A charming and usable piece of Victorian glassware.
