Gorgeous Set of 4 Victorian Cut & Engraved Champagne Glasses

An excellent set of four engraved and cut glass champagne bowls or coupes. These sought after items date from the late 19th Century and have gorgeous engraved decoration to the bowls featuring convolvulus leaves, tendrils and floral motifs. The stems are slice cut, which extends up to the underside of the bowl in petal form and there is a central facet cut knop to the stems. The bases are finished with polished pontil marks. A great gift idea for that special occasion, with a bottle of champagne. Origin :- English. Date :- c1890.
