A gorgeous Georgian silver cased scent bottle, dating to 1800. This lovely example is decorated to both sides with delightful engraving and bright cutting typical of the period. The lid is hinged to the side and opens via a push button release clasp. Held securely inside is the original cut glass scent bottle, complete with stopper. A wonderful early collectible piece.

Very good, with no splits, dents or breaks to the silver and no cracks to the glass. There are minor blemishes to the silver, expected with the age of the piece and a small nibble to the glass bottle on the edge of the base. These are photographed for clarity.
