Item Details
A gorgeous cut glass decanter from the Georgian Regency period. This stunning example has oval cartouches to both sides with 'Rum' hand engraved in capital letters. The body is an unusual oval shape, which fits very neatly in the hand. There is attractive flute and hobnail cutting to all sides. The shoulders are slice cut and sweep elegantly to a notch cut, flared rim with pouring lip. The original ball stopper is hobnail cut, with star cut finial, matching that of the star cut base. An excellent, usable example and a great gift idea for the Rum enthusiast.
