Gorgeous Charles Horner Silver Thistle Brooch

This is a lovely silver brooch from the elegant Edwardian era. This example is by the highly collectable maker of Charles Horner and assayed at the Chester office. The body is of interlocking sinuous design, with a rounded terminal and a gorgeous Citrine glass paste stone in the form of a thistle. The brooch is fully hallmarked to the reverse and is secured via a strong hinged pin and C clasp. A charming piece, both wearable and collectable.
