Good Sized Edwardian Silver Thistle Brooch

A lovely silver brooch from the elegant Edwardian era. This larger than usual example is likely to be by the highly collectable maker of Charles Horner. The body is of interlocking sinuous design, with a rounded terminal and a gorgeous amber glass paste stone in the form of a thistle. The brooch is marked Sterling to the reverse and is secured via a strong hinged pin and C clasp. A charming piece, both wearable and collectable. Hallmarks:- Clear and readable.
