Exquisite Italian Silver Gilt & Enamel Pill Box

Exquisite silver gilt and enamel pill box. This stunning piece is Italian in origin and of high quality. The box is oval in shape, with gilt exterior and interior. The lid is hinged and decorated with superb blue dual tone enamel decoration, with the central panel being of Guilloche. There is a stipple engraved border and attractive acanthus engraving, elevating the decoration further. The box is finished with thumb grips to the front to aid with opening.
