Exquisite 19th Century Venetian Vaseline Glass Tazza

Ref: ACA1901
Sold
This is an exquisite example of late 19th Century Venetian glass. This wonderful Tazza is of Vaseline glass in a pastel blue and white colourway and is likely to originate from the Salviati glass house in Venice. The bowl, hollow blown stem and foot are all of wrythen form, with the stem also having the addition of three clear glass lion masks. The bowl is dished with a turned over rim and the domed foot is folded with a broken pontil mark to the centre. A fabulous piece, both decorative and usable.
