Item Details
A useful silver Fiddle pattern salt spoon from the reign of George III. This lovely example was assayed at the collectable Newcastle Office and has engraved script initials to the top of the shank. Flatware is rather scarce nowadays due to the great losses, caused by the unscrupulous melting of antique silver for scrap. Therefore an example from a sought after Assay Office is a good find.
