A charming silver brooch, dating to the latter part of the Victorian era. This interesting example likely originates from Scotland and could be worn as a bar brooch or small kilt pin. The oval body is of sterling silver, with intricate acanthus leaf engraving to the front. There are two wonderfully carved pieces of banded agate, with a lovely natural colouring. An unusual example, both wearable and collectable. Hallmarks:- Unmarked, tests as silver Origin:- Scottish Date:- circa 1880
