Attractive pair of silver candlesticks dating from the late Victorian period. These lovely examples are of half height Corinthian column design, with unusual spiral studded bands. The stud work continues in double bands to the bases, which are square in shape with chamfered corners and weighted to aid with stability. The sconces are hallmarked and removable. Silver candlesticks remain popular and usable, with these examples being as practical as they are decorative.
Hallmarks:- Clear, matching and readable. Part marks to both sconces.

Very good, with no splits, serious dents or repairs. There are a few small blemishes to the edges of the bases. These are photographed and commensurate with age and use. The bases have been re-felted.
