A quality early Victorian silver wine label. This lovely example is of superior gauge silver. The label is shaped with a turned over scroll border. To the centre Sherry is pierced through in capital letters. The label is suspended with a belcher chain and has full hallmarks to the reverse. A great piece, ideal for the decanter and for collectors of wine labels.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Some loss through the piercing of the letters.
Date :- London 1844.
