A wonderful small Edwardian silver mounted Patience playing card box in a delightful deep red leather. The box is rectangular in shape and is fitted with a hinged lid. The lid is embellished with two stylish silver mounts and the word 'Patience' impressed in script writing to the middle. With the lid open the original red moiré silk is revealed along with two sets of period playing cards and a Patience games instruction booklet dating to 1933. A charming and usable piece and great gift idea.

Very good, with splits or holes to the silver. Some minor age related wear to the edges of the box as seen in the photographs, along with some small blemishes to the silver. All commensurate with age and use.
