Item Details
A superb pair of late Edwardian silver serving spoons in their original box. These quality examples are by James Dixon and Sons Ltd of Sheffield and are of excellent gauge silver. Made in the popular Old English pattern, they are designed in the Art Nouveau taste and have gorgeous sinuous lines and designs to the bowls. Both bowls are heightened with gilding to the interiors and the delightfully engraved handles feature vacant cartouches to the terminals. The original box is velvet and silk lined and in lovely condition. A fantastic pair, both useable and collectable.
