Item Details
A wonderful late Georgian Attar (or more commonly known, Oxford Lavender water bottle). These charming scent bottles were sold containing small amounts of perfume and were intended to be thrown away after use, making it a rare item nowadays. This large example is in a rare petrol blue colourway. The body is four sided with gilded decorations. The bottle dates from the late Georgian period circa 1830 and unusually, retains the original glass penny shaped stopper. A charming collectors piece.
