A handsome silver double sovereign case dating from the Edwardian period. This stylish piece has a rectangular body with acanthus leaf engraving to both front and back and an attaching loop to the top. There is a vacant round cartouche to the front and the case opens with a press button release and the lid is hinged. To the inside are two sovereign sprung holders. A good collectors piece.

Excellent, with no splits, dents or breaks to the silver. The hinge and clasp are strong, as are the springs to the sovereign holders.
