A gorgeous Norwegian silver gilt brooch, dating from the middle of the 20th Century. The openwork frame has sinuous lines and is formed to represent a stylized flower, with a barley-twist stem. Decorated in lovely guilloche enamel, featuring golden yellow tones. Fully marked to the reverse, it is the work of Albert Scharning and is in the Modernist taste.
