A fabulous silver salt, presented with a silver salt spoon dating to the late Victorian period. This charming novelty example is in the naturalistic style, formed as a lily pad. The lily pad is delightfully supported by three cast frogs, raised on their hind legs. The bowl is engraved and shaped with foliate motifs and both this and the spoon are fully hallmarked. A very charming and collectable piece, being both usable and decorative. Hallmarks :- Readable and clear. Maker :- Norton & White. Date :- Birmingham 1893. Spoon :- London 1888. Hukin & Heath
