A charming silver caddy spoon from the late 18th Century. This delightful example has an rounded shell bowl. The handle is in Old English pattern, engraved with wonderful bright cut decoration and finished with an oval cartouche. The spoon is of unusually good gauge silver, making for a lovely usable piece of 18th Century, Georgian silverware.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Town mark is absent - not unusual with 18th Century caddy spoons.

Excellent, with no dents, breaks or splits. There is slight evidence of erased initials to the cartouche.
